here is a step by step procedure on how to disable tweets on your facebook status:

assuming you already log-in or sign in which you ever prefer.

step 1.
click on the application

step 2.
click on edit application

step 3.
choose authorized on the top right corner of the edit application page, its default is recent application, change it to authorized.

step 4.
look for twitter and then click on its edit setting

step 5.
on edit settings tab, go to additional permissions, uncheck the publish recent activity (one line stories) to my wall.

and thats how it is done!

here is the syntax of how to search/replace string or characters in vim...

example:
this command will replace all "www" to "emspree" in lines 1 to 10

:1,10 s/www/emspree

if you want only a line,

however if you want to replace a string with a "/"
it will replace www/site to maryon/newsite

on whole file search/replace

then look for

then it is enable, the syntax highlighting is now enabled

i have been online since 4th grade which is i think, year 1999. but not so active unlike today.

i can still remember using netscape, hehehe... it's cool, i get to download cheat codes for my playstation 1,.. i miss those good'ol days...

since then i was always fascinated with internet, i can still remember the famous search engine back then( i can still remember that i dont even know what is a search engine) i remember using yahoo!

who knows what yahoo mean? or does it have a meaning.

earlier to day i was reading PC WORLD march edition(fan of reading back issues) which is 20 years special of the magazine.,

i read that YAHOO is an Abbreviation.! it simply meant

there are lots of games out there which offer to waste your time,. for nothing. seriously!

i was once addicted to a mafia wars and farmville.

but what if you could do something about your time?

here is a generic guide to cheat or hack any flash games may it be restaurant city, mafia wars, pet society, famville, farmtown or any flash games.

here is a list of what you need.
1.) web browser(i suggest firefox).
2.)download a cheat engine(the latest version is most important).
3.)flash!(may it be adobe or any flash plugin, plug-in only!)

now here is a step!.
1.) run the game!(any flash games, -restaurant city,-pet society)
2.)run the cheat engine.
3.)then choose firefox, on the list of running application on the cheat engine.
4.)filter the changes in the game, you will get memory addressses
5.)then try changing something. like money!. increase money or decrease money,
6.)then filter it again, if you gain money its more likely to increase the value of the memory address.
7.) repeat steps 4 to 6 until you are certain that it is the address or value of your going to change value.
8.)now if you are certain, just change the value to your desired amount.
9.)enjoy!!!

notes:

be careful.you could be reported in fraud of the game if you are caught cheating.
on changing the values you could convert it to any, if the value is hexadecimal, you could just convert hex to decimal, and then edit that decimal, then convert the edited decimal to hex, then put it in the values of your selected address.
Some anti-virus programs mistakenly pick up parts of Cheat Engine as a trojan/virus. It's best to disable your anti-virus before installing or running Cheat Engine(More info on this particular problem can be found here)

Oracle a Super database software, bought Sun(one of the best server maker in the world) this act of Oracle is a major step for a big bucks!!! because the revenue of the whole server sales will be paid to oracle, no parthners and no tie ups. so thats a big round of applauds to oracle,

but how about the server consumers?

oracle based system that runs on HP machine will be deprecated in the near future because SUN will be having Oracle, its another budget eater for upgrade!

HP machine will soon deflate like a tire loosing its air inside.

but how about the system admins?

ofcourse they will have to learn how sun servers operates, and how to configure it. not a big deal right?

but how about the developers?

for now, i really dont know. all i know is that sun is java's mother and java runs on all! its cross compatible because it runs on top of the java virtual machine.

maybe its an advantage, doing or creating java on a sun machine is a well built! because java is made to run primarily on sun machines, even though its cross-compatible still java wants or stronger or faster runner on its mother(sun).

for those who doesnt know captcha,

captcha is a string or an array of characters and numbers that you needed to enter in a form to validate if you are a bot or not.

captcha is very helpful to avoid unwanted spams, fraud and copying web contents, in a simple word. Captcha is Security! and you may ask why would a multi billion dollar company like google would give interest to captcha?

there can be two things!

first is the many users who uses recaptcha,

maybe this happens time to time but can they really imagine that they earn millions of dollar, and having this.

HTTP SERVER ERROR 503, is an error exception sent by Apache, or if they are really using apache.

it causes when the client cant or unable to recieve data stream from the server.

actually,

503 means that the server is unavailable.

there are 2 can be reason for this.

1.)the site is on going maintenance( they cant even put up a redirecting page for twitter giving visitors a notice if it is on going maintenance.)

2.)second reason is the site is overloaded. maybe with visitors? or maybe there are someone hacking?

easy. here is a step by step procedure:

1.) login to your blogger account.

2.)choose layout on your blog to be redirected,

3.) under the tabs below your blog title, choose edit HTML
4.)after selecting edit HTML, you will be presented with the html template code for blogger,. you need to edit/add a meta tag.as you can see, it is highlighted, add it to your edit template textbox/textarea

you need to change the number 60, because 60 is a parameter to make it when to redirect to http://honeytechie.blogspot.com

in this exampe, here is the scenario.

Virtual Box: how to increase screen resolution of ubuntu

here is a simple step on adjusting screen resolution on ubuntu on virtual box,

1st: Start Ubuntu on Virtual Box(you should have done this already).

2nd:press the right control to get out of the ubuntu,

3rd: click on the DEVICES in the top of the window(menubar of the ubuntu window).

4th: click INSTALL GUEST ADDITION or if you are inside the ubuntu(your mouse is on the ubuntu hold right-CTRL + D)
after doing this you will notice that you just mounted a CD.

5th: OPEN TERMINAL go to APPLICATION->ACCESORIES->TERMINAL

6th: go to the CDROM by typing on the terminal.
cd /media/cdrom0
then hit ENTER!

7th: check the files in the directory. by typing
ls
you will see the mounted cd's directory

8th: look for the file VBoxLinuxAdditions,
as you notice this you notice other VBoxAdditions, because you can use VBOXADDITIONS on ther operating system e.g windows.

9th: now run the VBOXLINUXADDITION. type
sudo sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
on linux you can run VBoxLinuxAddition-amd64.run (or other because its you own pc setup) it will run a script. then wait until its finished

10th: now RESTART! or use a shortcut. CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE!

final step: log on to ubuntu then go to SYSTEM->PREFERENCE->SCREEN RESOLUTION
there you can see additional resolution options, be free to use you imagination on which resolution you heart wants. :) happy learning.

Install LAMP on Ubuntu

first time on linux? and choosing ubuntu is the best conversion machine from windows because of it's near XP appearance, but we will be dealing with the unix environment so expect it to be hard!.

ok lets start installing LAMP.

1.) open the terminal, at APPLICATIONS>ACCESORIES>TERMINAL

2.) type this line to gain the root access level,

sudo su
it will make you the root.

3.)lets install APACHE2,

on the console type:
sudo apt-get install apache2
then it will install, if asked (Y,N)? Y then enter

4.)after installing, try to start and stop apache by typing
start:
/etc/init.d/apache start
stop:
/etc/init.d/apache stop
check the status
/etc/init.d/apache status

you will be making most of you php application in the /var/www/ directory

5.)lets install PHP
type:
sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5
go to /var/www/

type

cd /var/www/	going to www folder
mv index.html index.php	renaming index.html to index.php
vim index.php	edit the index.php using vim,
	put this to index.php to try if php is running. because it will show the necessary settings in php

6.)install mysql

sudo apt-get install mysql-server
then if there is an error on php and mysql, if you cant query on php to mysql, try this install,

sudo apt-get install php5-mysql mysql-client

then edit php.ini on /etc/php5/apache2/

enable ;extension=mysql.so

by removing the ";"

7.) the last step is install the phpmyadmin'
type this
sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php5-mysql phpmyadmin

then restart apache2,
check this on your browser:
http://localhost/phpmyadmin
but if phpmyadmin has an error or wont work

sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin
then edit the apache2.conf at /etc/apache2/
by typing this in the last line inside the apache2.conf

Include /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

the slim version of playstation 3 will be release this september! very nice and sexy design. its a much better console than the conventional PS3, which is very large than the incoming PlayStation 3.

Playstation 3 has a better graphic accelerator than its competitors but in the sense of budget or money constraints, i prefer the latter.

there are some points to consider if something is to be judged if better than the other.

i will be starting off with twitter and then compare plurk
lets start

functionality
twitter is more on content based, rather than plurk that is a time based, meaning it has more priority on the timeline.

the usability
twitter is a no brainer, its very easy and user friendly its a simple post and done. than plurk because plurk is very eye candy, so its more on the appearance than the functionality.(its an excuse, i know)

portability
twitter can be imported on sites, for example your post on the twitter can be seen on your facebook.

appearance
which is better looking twitter or plurk? if you like designs of not parallel text, you would like plurk and if you like fast! and up to date, i suggest twitter.

it doesnt matter what you use. just have fun, write what you want to write,. post what you feel to post. this is freedom. free to tell the world anything.

so the syntax of updating multiple columns:

ive been using these sun broadband for almost a month, this has been very useful for me for only sometime,

i subscribed on their sun broadband the 899 plan, without holding period, because im very cautious on subscribing on their plans. because it is SUN, SUN is SUN. (other way of calling people asshole is describing them with there name, like : tell me about benny, umm benny is benny, )

when i subscribe to sun's they told me that the higher(living in a highr-rise condominium) the better the signal. thats a big BULLCRAP!!! because when im down on the ground surfing the net at the nearby McDonald's ive been able to surf the net better than surfing above the houses.

coincidence? thats crap.!!!

even with smart's broadband, the wireless usb 3g sucks as well.

anyway or any how you have internet connection for browsing which matter's most right?

my cause of this phenomena you say?

they are using a wlan configured network. which happened on the dongles.

the dongles connects to a certain network nearby then connects to the internet.(FAILED!)

meaning the dongles in a certain place shares one I.P address, and one bandwidth.,!

so if you are living in a condominium or any highrise building, all the users with the same telco(sun,smart or globe) in that building shares ONE IP and Internet Bandwidth. BULL CRAP that 3mbps shit!, because in a building you will be sharing also one location..

still gonna subscribe or buy a dongle? i would suggest, dont. lets just wait for a better service because it is a complete waste of money,...

when you are creating a website with a user needed to register what do you use to validate users if they are really say they are? yes? any answer? yes. EMAIL.

Email is very essential in validating users.

but how do you send it? you can use PHP Mailer, because it is very useful, you just needed to download an application that sends mail PHP mailer from their website, you just need to copy the folder from a zip file which you needed to download i think it is sized a 2mb size.

include or require the php file. like this:

require '/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php';
is suggest you use require because it will pop an error if it is not properly included. than include because include bypasses the error if it cant find the file it will still return without an error, but you file will still not be included.

you just needed to declare a php mailer, like this:

$mail = new PHPMailer;

then pass the functions.

like this

$mail->fromName = "sender";
$mail->addAddress= "receiver@domain.com";
$mail->subject= 'this is the subject';
$mail->body='this is the body';

then after y0u pass the parameters, you can send it by:

the movie plot was good.
Star Trek as the Most Geeky Movie i Watched,

the movie is about a rebelious boy who had his dad as the captain of the USS Kelvin, who died in the attact of the roman*something... the enemy was from the future, brought by spark from the future. the enemy is on revenge anyway. because the spark from the future let the enemy's planet explode.

they got sucked in the blackhole and then the came to the past killing james kirk's father.

james was recruited by his dead father's friend captain pike of the USS Enterprise. then he joined the Federal fleet. then after three years he tooked the exam to win the captain hood. but he was accused of cheating by spark. then they got james to be appear infront of the court.

while having the court they was called for an emergency because vulcan!~spark's planet needed some reinforcement. so they came to the vulcan planet with a warning with james kirk. that it was an attack of their planet and they arrived and then they shielded up. and then they was nearly defeated by the enemy then they capture the captain of the ship then captain pike promoted spark as the new captain and james kirk as the 1st officer. then captain pike was captured. then the planet vulcan was destroyed by the red matter.

then the USS enterprise escaped going to the Starfleet, but james kirk disagree that he musnt because it will cost much time that they needed to go to the other federal planets to save then. but because of his stubborness he was sent to a nearby planet in an escape pod. he found the old spark there. the old spark told him about what really happened.

then they looked for the nearby federal station, and then they found the genius that devised the beamer mr. scott. and then the old spark told him about his discovery and then they beamed james and scott to the USS Enterprise. he stopped the captain because the captain spark was too much of emotionally involved.

so james kirk became the captain. they headed to earth to save earth.

and then they beamed themselves inside the enemy ship then they attacked it from the inside and then spark found the ship of his own self from the future.

he droved it and then destroyed the drill and then he slammed the ship to the enemy ship with the red matter while kirk was rescuing captain pike. then they were beamed back to the USS EnterPrise. they try to make the enemy surrender but instead they dont want to, so they fire at will at the helpless enemy inside the blackhole provided by the slammed ship with the red matter.

then they return to the court and then kirk was commended and relieved captain pike of being the captain of the USS Enterprise. then captain pike became admiral then the future spark and the present spark meet up, the future spark told the present spark to join and help kirk in quest of the other planets and culture yet to be discovered by the USS Enterprise...

the movie was great with some humor aside. i only wished that we watched it on 3d imax.

in terms of acquiring the software, Bayanihan Charges 200 pesos per CD, but in Linux Ubuntu, i ordered last 6 months and i recieved it 2 days after i ordered, and its free of charge from UK, i still have the Mail Envelope which is used to deliver the CD.

so when the Government decides to fund Bayanihan Linux, which is they can already use UBUNTU, thats where corruption comes in,.

for me,

DOST should not reinvent the wheel but develop the wheel for advance usage.
DOST should help inventors which have a good ideas, not just make another thing based on something which that something is still better than what we did. we should be original,. its not something we can be proud of. because we just copied and replace the skins, "Bayanihan Linux" should be called a linux distribution but a SKIN or a theme.

last night my honey and i watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. for me its the WORST HARRY POTTER EVER, here are my reasons.

its Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was JUST OVER-RATED!!!!
so snape was the Half Blood Prince, and So? why is he the half blood prince?- left unanswered i thought dark secrets revealed?

it came out of the blue. no explanation or sort, the first scene was just,it was dumbledore and harry potter with the press and harry's nose is bleeding. i did'nt get it, ofcourse i'm not a fan of the harry potter franchise.
i dont know if its just me or all other, i didnt get the gist or the thought of the movie, its like story telling and i cant understand some things. i get some part of it, like the holcrux was the spell used by the dark lord to enable to pass his soul to objects, which means until the objects are destroyed, the dark lord is still alive, and then malfoy is a traitor he let some antagonist come to hogwarts to kill dumbledore, some story.
draco malfoy was to kill dumbledore, he cant kill him, why is just that snape was always with dumbledore and he didnt kill him, anyways he was all capable to kill dumbledore anyway, he could kill him anytime he wanted, but why he didnt kill him anytime. it just make my head hurts.
i spend the whole show deciphering the story, its like encoded with a message for the geeks out there, i cant comprehend,

OverRated - too much of trailer/ advertisement / almost all movies has ice age 3's trailer before the movie starts.
OverPriced(3d) it was a mistake watching this crap on 3d because, its not so much funny that before.

for example you are making a website of a blog. and you tend to select or view the contents in the database, you tend to select right? but instead someone SQL inject your site. and it listed all your user's account information. its a faulty system.

but you can use the mysql_real_escape_string(); to avoid sql injections.

example.
this is a faulty query.

$query = mysql_query("Select * from student_tb where id='$_POST['id']' and password='$_POST['pw']'");

to solve this. use this

$id = mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['id']);
$pw = mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['pw']);

then query.

a moment ago i saw a nice ad on Collegehumor.com, it is very nice. i saw the gameplay. its a game that has my favorite feature in any game,.. "The Free Roaming." its like in a real world, but with a twist. :) because you can roam. as in roam.

i like roaming in game rather in real life.

since then, since i started to play with personal computer, i was always fascinated with windows' back then it was just DOS,.(Microsoft Disk Operating System) so you will be needing to operate the operating system through the use of command line interface,

after a couple of months i tried ubuntu, and i was fascinated because you dont need other softwares to operate on your computer. because ubuntu gives you all the benefits and all you can do with your computer are provided after installing the operating system, unlike windows after buying and then installing the Operating System then you need to buy again for microsoft office, to word process.

last two days i installed linux as a permanent operating system on my desktop PC, and then last night i upgraded my UBUNTU 8.10 Desktop Edition to UBUNTU 9.04 Desktop Edition.

linux ubuntu is an enterprise linux, which has so many features.
one of the best features is the always reliable updates(all kinds of updates), the completeness of all-you-need tools(even photo editing software like photoshop has a linux free version called GIMP), and so many other things.

you should try it some time it dont cost a thing and be fascinated that you dont need to spend money to have an all-in-one operating system.

iphone price?

a few months ago i was watching the unveiling of the iphone, and Steve Jobs said it was only for $199. and now it is soaring as much as 40K++ php,..

did he lied? "liar liar his ass is on fire" or did he just made a mistake? iphone is a great gadget/phone but apple made a mistake,.

if you look into a wider perspective, its the supply and demand thing which is i learned from economics back on college. that if the demand is high and supply is less than the demand the price is very much affected by this, then the vice versa which is if the demand is lower than the supply the price would drop a fair amount to make the producers have their budget constraints met.

its an applauding move for apple or other telcos.
