if you are transferring your site to another domain, it will be very sad if you transfer your blogspot site to a new site or domain without transferring your traffic, visitors and readers.
so what solutions are you gonna take to save your traffic?
the answer is redirect your traffic to your new site.
its very easy on regular site, but how to redirect your blogspot to a new site?
easy. here is a step by step procedure:
1.) login to your blogger account.
2.)choose layout on your blog to be redirected,
3.) under the tabs below your blog title, choose edit HTML
4.)after selecting edit HTML, you will be presented with the html template code for blogger,. you need to edit/add a meta tag.as you can see, it is highlighted, add it to your edit template textbox/textarea
<meta content="60;url=http://honeytechie.blogspot.com" equiv="refresh" />
you need to change the number 60, because 60 is a parameter to make it when to redirect to http://honeytechie.blogspot.com
in this exampe, here is the scenario.
after landing or arriving to your page, the visitor will have 60 seconds before the site will refresh and then go to http://honeytechie.blogspot.com/
you can edit the meta content, edit 60 to 0 to make it after arriving there will be no delay that it will redirect to http://honeytechie.blogspot.com
edit http://honeytechie.blogspot.com to any site you prefer, or to your new site, blog site to save your traffic and visitors
